COMPETITIVE OPERATIONS

INTEGRITY & SANCTIONS

How QSL checks accounts, oversees matches and handles rule violations.

01 Before You Play

Anti-cheat software running during a QSL match

Third-party anti-cheat

QSL does not run its own anti-cheat. FACEIT events use FACEIT’s anti-cheat. Challengermode-hosted VRS events use the anti-cheat named by the platform or event rulebook. Valve’s VAC also applies to CS2 accounts. Players must run the provider-required anti-cheat for the full match.

Account checks

At sign-up, you need a verified FACEIT account. The Steam ID linked to FACEIT must match your Challengermode CS2 Steam ID. VRS events also require approved player details.

02 Match Oversight

Referees

QSL admins watch matches, handle pauses and disputes, and can review demos or request POV recordings and screenshots.

Webcam checks

If an event requires webcam checks, its event page will say so. Players may be asked to keep a webcam on or join a live camera check with a referee.

After-match reviews

Admins may manually review accounts, demos and reports after a match.
